Beverage industry
In beverage production, kegs, drums, crates, sacks, water bottles and containers of packaging are lifted and moved every day. Our solutions take the weight of the load and make handling through the production and logistics process safer, more ergonomic and more efficient.
The problem
In breweries and plants bottling water, juices and other drinks, operators work with very different kinds of load. Kegs and drums have to be lifted and moved, crates stacked and restacked, water bottles lifted to workstations, and sacks of raw materials brought to production equipment.
Pallet boxes and large containers of PET preforms or other packaging elements, which have to be brought to machines, tilted or emptied into the next stage of the process, are a further challenge.
Such handling often involves repetitive lifting, work at different heights and handling loads that are heavy, bulky or awkward to grip.
With a large number of cycles per shift, the physical strain builds up quickly, and non-ergonomic work can slow down filling, packing and internal logistics.
How we solve it
Handling kegs and drums
Specialised lifting equipment allows kegs and drums to be gripped, lifted, transported and positioned safely. Depending on the process, the container can be lifted from the floor or a pallet, moved to the desired position and tilted or emptied in a controlled way.
Lifting crates, boxes and water bottles
Vacuum and other lifters make it easier to lift crates of bottles, boxes, parcels and water bottles between pallets, conveyors and workstations. The equipment takes the weight of the load while the operator controls its movement and positioning.
Handling sacks of raw materials
Sacks of sugar, additives and other dry raw materials can be lifted by vacuum and moved to the emptying point or process equipment. This reduces the need to carry and lift sacks by hand during production.
Emptying pallet boxes of PET preforms and packaging
Pallet boxes and large containers of PET preforms, caps or other packaging elements can be lifted, tilted and emptied in a controlled way into the production or packaging line. This makes it easier to keep the process supplied and reduces the need to pour contents by hand.
From the delivery of raw materials and supply of production lines to handling bottles, cans and kegs and palletising finished products – we tailor our solutions to the characteristics of the load, hygiene requirements and the specifics of beverage production.
