Stainless steel forklifts

Transport, lifting and handling of pallets in hygienically demanding, wet and corrosive working environments.

For environments where hygiene is part of the process

In food and pharmaceutical production, a forklift is not just a means of internal transport. The equipment enters areas that are washed regularly, comes into contact with moisture and cleaning agents, and may be in the immediate vicinity of raw materials or products.

That is why stainless steel versions use smooth, easily accessible surfaces, closed fork designs and corrosion-resistant materials. Across much of the range, the fork chassis is made of acid-resistant AISI 316L stainless steel.

Stainless steel forklifts and pallet equipment are developed for processes in which standard painted equipment is not a suitable solution. A design with stainless and acid-resistant components, closed forks and surfaces suited to cleaning reduces the build-up of dirt and increases resistance to moisture, salt and aggressive washing agents. The range covers manual and electric pallet trucks, stackers, pallet lifters to working height, tippers and rotators.

Manual pallet trucks

Manual stainless steel pallet trucks are intended for everyday pallet transport in production, cold and wet areas, and other environments where hygiene and corrosion resistance matter.

Standard versions have a capacity of up to 2,500 kg, and the compact design and low rolling resistance make them easy to manoeuvre even in confined spaces.

Electric pallet trucks

For more frequent transport or longer distances, fully electric stainless steel pallet trucks are available.

Electric drive and lifting reduce the physical effort of transporting heavier pallets, while the compact design allows work in cramped production areas. The stainless steel electric version is available with a capacity of up to 2,000 kg and with different fork lengths and spreads.

Stackers

When it is not enough simply to transport the pallet, stainless steel stackers are used that allow pallets to be lifted and stacked at different heights.

Manual versions, versions with electric lifting, fully electric versions and models with wide legs for closed pallets are available.

Depending on the configuration, the capacity is up to approximately 1,000 kg and the lifting height can be up to approximately 3,000 mm. An acid-resistant AISI 316 chassis, smooth surfaces and a washdown-friendly design allow use in hygienically demanding plants.

Why stainless steel?

Easier cleaning

Smooth surfaces and a design suited to hygienic processes.

Corrosion resistance

Stainless and acid-resistant materials for wet and chemically demanding environments.

Lower risk of contamination

Closed forks and fewer places where dirt can build up.

Long service in demanding conditions

Materials and components are chosen for regular cleaning and industrial use in corrosive environments.

INOX versions

Intended for processes that need high corrosion resistance and good cleanability, but where not every single part of the unit has to be made of stainless steel.

For example, on the manual pallet truck the fork chassis is made of AISI 316L, while certain other parts are stainless, hot-dip galvanised or surface-protected.

INOX Plus versions

For processes with stricter hygiene requirements, intensive washing or a more aggressive environment, a higher grade of stainless steel version is used. On the manual Pallet Truck Inox Plus model the chassis is AISI 316L, while the other steel components are made of stainless steel.
