In the printing and packaging industry, materials are often lifted, moved, turned and positioned precisely between storage, machines, workstations and pallets during production.

Rolls of paper, film, labels and other materials can be heavy and awkward to grip by hand, and changing them on a machine often requires precise alignment with the shaft or mounting. Boards, sheets and other large-format materials are more demanding still because of their dimensions and sensitive surfaces.

After processing, boxes, parcels and finished products have to be moved, stacked and palletised again. With repetitive handling throughout the shift the physical strain builds up quickly, and imprecise handling can damage material or cause stoppages in the process.

The equipment must therefore handle different formats and weights safely, with enough precision to supply production and packaging machines.

How we solve it

Lifting and positioning rolls

Mobile lifting equipment lets rolls of paper, film, labels and other packaging materials be gripped, lifted from a pallet or the floor, transported to the machine and fitted precisely on a shaft or other mounting. Where needed, the roll can be turned from horizontal to vertical or vice versa before it is fitted.

Handling boards, sheets and large-format materials

Vacuum and other custom grippers allow boards, printing plates, cardboard and other flat materials to be lifted and moved safely between the pallet, the work surface and the production machine. Controlled movement reduces the chance of bending, slipping and surface damage.

Palletising and box handling

Vacuum lifters make it easier to lift boxes, parcels and other finished products between conveyors, workstations and pallets. The equipment takes the weight of the load while the operator controls its stacking and positioning.

Working height and internal handling

Lift tables, platforms and mobile lifting trolleys bring pallets, boxes and other loads to a more suitable working height. This reduces repetitive bending and makes packing, order picking and supplying machines easier.
