Lifting and stacking panels
Sheets of metal, wood, glass, plastic and other materials, as well as panels, are often large, heavy and awkward to lift and stack by hand. Our solutions take the weight of the load and make sheet handling safer, more ergonomic and more precise.
The problem
In production and material processing, sheets often have to be lifted from a pallet, table or storage position, moved between workstations and placed precisely on a machine, work surface or other position.
Because of their large dimensions, weight and relatively thin geometry, sheets and panels can be awkward to grip safely by hand. Larger formats often need several operators, and turning or positioning them without bending, knocking or damaging the surface is a further challenge.
Repetitive manual lifting and stacking increase physical strain, slow the work process and make precise handling harder, especially with sensitive or valuable materials.
How we solve it
For handling sheets and panels we use systems that take the weight of the load and allow it to be lifted, moved and positioned in a controlled way.
The sheet or panel is picked up with a suitable vacuum or other custom gripper, lifted from the pallet, table or storage position and moved in a controlled way to the machine, work surface or stacking point.
Depending on the process, the solution can also turn the sheet from horizontal to vertical or vice versa, and position it precisely before processing or storage.
The system is adapted to the dimensions, weight, material and surface of the sheet, as well as to the required working area and handling method.
The equipment takes the weight of the sheet while the operator controls its lifting, orientation and precise positioning.
What our solution gives you
Less physical strain
The need to lift and hold large, heavy sheets by hand is reduced.
More precise positioning
Controlled movement makes it easier to place the sheet on a machine, work surface or stacking point.
Lower risk of damage
The right gripper and controlled movement reduce the chance of knocks, slipping and damage to the material surface.
A more even work process
Less operator fatigue makes it easier to keep a steady work pace during repetitive handling.
